Temptress
This acrylic work presents an up-close and personal view of a cactus that lived in our backyard in New Mexico. I always admired how she (I'm sure it was a female) looked in the evening sun, but I knew better than to caress. The painting is done on wrapped canvas with painted edges and can be hung without a frame.
The piece is 24 X 36.

Plants as Structure
These two square paintings, 12 inches square, were painted from house plants with a strong light set behind to backlight the structure of the plant. I like seeing the form in natural items.
